Zuvor haben wir Annika zu ihrer Arbeit als PR Manager Europe bei DJI befragt.

Hi Annika, can you please tell us a bit about your work!

As DJI’s technology is both innovative and pioneering, we believed that using social media was the most effective way to inspire people to take up flying. We choose to showcase creators who have taken our products to the next level. We also deeply integrated social media in our products (App).

Which role play influencers & events?

We have sort out influencers not just based on their popularity but also their ability to create. We have a belief that anybody can create stunning images and videos, hence why we established SkyPixel.
For events, we know that our fans are worldwide. With 7 localized pages combined under 1 handle, we aim to show off multiple worldwide events to truly represent the Global appeal of DJI.

What is the interaction between different channels?

Our Twitter channels are more for Customer Support, while Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and YouTube are more for promoting exceptional work from Creators. We are constantly looking at new social channels, as the media consumption landscape continues to fragment, to better raise awareness of DJI.

Which issues do you have to cope with in social media marketing?

It’s the Speed at which we like to help our customers. From their problems to introducing new technology to ensure they maintain inspiration as well as aspiration.

DJI’s other challenge is the constant growth of new social channels. With the closure of Vine, we are reminded of the importance of Social Media for brand. Stay relevant at all times on multiple channels.

Thanks for your time!
