Facebook hat heute Nacht ein neues Features gelauncht: “Friendship Page”. Die neue Funktion stellt die Kommunikation und Interaktion zwischen zwei befreundeten Personen dar. Darunter unter anderen die gegenseitigen Wallposts, Photos auf denen die Personen zusammen markiert sind, Events an denen beide teilgenommen haben usw.. Insgesamt also ein schöner Überblick über die beteiligen zwei Personen.  Entwickelt wurde das Feature von Wayne Kao, der im Facebook Blog folgendes schreibt:

One of my favorite Facebook moments is browsing photos from friends in the News Feed after they’ve begun a new relationship, gotten engaged or gotten married. It gives me a fun and meaningful glimpse of the friendship between two people I know.

I realized that a similarly magical experience was possible if all of the photos and posts between two friends were brought together. You’d remember that first Wall post with your best friend or the funny photo from a night out. You may even see that moment when your favorite couple met at a party you all attended.

A few months ago, I began a small project to build a page devoted to friendships. A few interns and I started a prototype during an all-night hackathon, and then one of our designers jumped in. For all of us, it’s been a labor of love. (weiterlesen …)

Facebook Engagement Rate

Our new research: a metric to measure the engagement between users and companies on Facebook.

The research looked into more than 100 Facebook fan pages mantained by different brands of different sizes.

Regardless of size, number of fans or industry, fans showed common behaviors by rewarding key achievements from the brand and showing little interest when the brand does not share real value or, simply, the created content is not what the audience is looking for.

Frozenfrogs stellt darin die Engagement Rate (E.R.) für Facebook vor, welche die Interaktionen pro Statusmeldung in Relation zu den vorhandenen Fans setzt.
