November können wir so Nik Shah (Measurement Analyst) in Berlin begrüßen. Sein Spezialgebiet sind die Zahlen, die für jedes Unternehmen auf Facebook so relevant sind und den Erfolg der eigenen Aktivitäten definieren:

Facebook helps advertisers to reach their goals – but what should you measure? Nik Shah explains how advertisers make sure that the metrics reflect real business objectives. He will clarify why keeping it simple is important and present best practice examples from Germany and around the world.

Nik Shah_FacebookNik looks after measurement for retail and FMCG clients across EMEA. While at Facebook, he has proved that a single Facebook campaign can sell (among other things) dozens of tonnes of Mexican food, and that our ads work not just in the USA, but in the UK, Germany, Poland, Turkey, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, Finland and even France.

Nik studied philosophy and politics before becoming attracted by statistics. He then worked for the Future Foundation, forecasting consumer trends, and dunnhumby, analysing people’s shopping baskets before moving to Facebook to focus on developing new methodologies for ad effectiveness measurement. A personal journey towards greater precision and rigour was capped earlier this year by a move from Facebook London to Facebook Germany.
